Nothing to add really, other than I thought today was a great day, and I had better get something - anything - posted to this forum so that I have a post under my belt. It was a testament to the energy and leadership of Dave and Chantal that this day came to pass and be so well received.

I'm wondering if James's gorilla photo is in any way related to the Evolution Schmevolution Week, this week on The Daily Show - the Tuesday edition dealt with human-ape similarities, in a manner of speaking. Leave it to Jon Stewart and crew to cut to the heart of the anti-science ethic rampant in the US.

Here's a view of science I find easy to remember:
